Bringeer Of The Night

Well, even though i'm just a passerby, i will give my eye on this, because it's a topic i enjoy immensely... cosmic stuff and the like, etc.

vision: what you saw definitely carried onto medium. i could understand what is happening in this piece even without the title in place. i cant think of what else would be needed in this that falls along the lines of vision. the angle the bird is approaching is dynamic, if anything this could be expanded into more.

originality: well its true technically 'nothing is original', i can say i've not see anything quite in this presentation before, which is refreshing. the night coming forth is great, but also gives you more room to evolve the scene.

technique: as for this, the bird is drawn masterfully as well as the lines done originating in the sun. the detail you've presented is amazing in the small scale, but as it remains for the moons, they are a bit vague and disorientating, i assume they are moons, but at first i saw them as planets. although, that remains to be seen as possible perspective.

impact: obviously this caught my eye in the flood of other artwork scattered about, so the impact is a very strong point. the colors are vivid even though simple, with some small variations which i like a lot. the flare of the sun damaged by the bird's talons is a great addition to the overall scene as well.
