Description
There is a bird that lays no eggs and has no young. It was here when the world began and is still living today, in a hidden, faraway desert spot. It is the phoenix, the bird of fire.
In Greek mythology a phoenix is a long-lived bird that is cyclically regenerated or reborn. According to legends the Phoenix consumed itself by fire every 500 years, and a new Phoenix sprang from it's ashes. In ancient Egypt, the Phoenix represented the sun. Early Christian tradition adopted the phoenix as a symbol of immortality and resurrection.
As the legend goes, when the phoenix resurrects from the flames, she is even more beautiful and stronger than before.
...
“Which came first, the phoenix or the flame?'
'Hmm . . . What do you think?' said Luna, looking thoughtful.
'Well then, I think the answer is that a circle has no beginning.'
...
I made this one for my dear soul sister who inspired me greatly with her beautiful fiery soul
I hope you like it Mayu
